Clarence Arley Willard age 71 of Maidsville passed away Friday, December 16, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born September 9, 1945 in Morgantown a son of the late Walter Lawrence Willard and Beulah McCrobie Willard.
Clarence was employed as an engineer for CSX Railroad and was a Vietnam Veteran with the United States Army. Clarence enjoyed Civil War reenactments and being outdoors. He was a Christian by faith.
Clarence is survived by his wife of 50 years Mary Dalton Willard, one daughter, Ronna Studenwalt and husband Jason of Jane Lew, one son Aaron Willard and wife Kathern of Core, grandchildren, Michael Ayersman, Lawrence Ayersman and wife Karen, Zachary Ayersman, Madison Willard, and Bailey Willard, and great grandchildren, Skylar Pechart, Jacob Ayersman, Maxwell Ayersman, Ethan Ayersman, and Collin Ayersman.
Clarence was preceded in death by one great grandson, Declan Ayersman and two sisters.
Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Rd., Morgantown, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Monday and on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service with Pastor Craig Falkenstine officiating. Burial will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery with graveside military honors conferred by the Lewis County Honor Guard and WVANG, Camp Dawson.
