Grace I. Panrell age 89 of Chaplin Road passed away, Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Madison Rehabilitation Center. She was born January 9, 1927 in Morgantown a daughter of the late David Dayton Flowers and Clara Clark Flowers.
Grace’s greatest joys in life were her family and church. She looked forward to family gatherings and reunions where she could bake her famous peanut butter pies and be with her family. She spent over sixty years, many of them teaching the youth in various churches throughout the area with the last eighteen years being at Riverside Apostolic Church.
Grace also had been employed as a Nurse’s Aide at St. Vincent Pallotti Hospital.
Grace is survived by her children, Guy Panrell and wife Sandra of Morgantown, Valerie Kay Lemasters and husband Gary of Morgantown, with whom she made her home for the last 17 years, and Mark Panrell and wife Denise of Morgantown, two grandchildren, Jeremy Lemasters of Morgantown and Stefan Panrell of Ashville, NC, one great grandson, Luke Lemasters and several nieces and nephews.
Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Panrell, three sisters, June Flowers Queen, Ruby Flowers King, and Beulah Flowers, and three brothers, Buddy Flowers, Lorraine “Freckles” Flowers and Donald Flowers.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Carl Grey and all the caregivers for the love and kindness shown to Grace.
Friends may call at the Riverside Apostolic Church, 336 Dents Run Blvd, Granville from 4-8 pm Thursday and on Friday from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service with Pastor Nathaniel Hudson officiating.
