Judith Ann “Judy” Hiser age 77 of Westover passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born February 22, 1939 in Morgantown a daughter of the late Harry Lee Hiser Sr. and Margaret Alt and the mother who raised her, Esther Hiser Judy had been employed at City Pharmacy in Morgantown for over thirty years. Her favorite pastimes were going out to eat and watching the soap opera “Days of our Lives.” Judy is survived by her daughter, Andrea Hiser of Wilmington, NC, one brother John Hiser of Westover, grandchild, Julian Hiser and several nieces and nephews, especially Jill Eglan and Holly Hiser for their loving care for Judy during the last few months of her life. Judy was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Hiser and Harry Hiser Jr. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses at Ruby Hospital for their loving care of Judy in her last weeks. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Judy’s memory to St. Judes Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Christian Help, 219 Walnut Street, Morgantown, WV 26505. Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover, from 5-8 pm Friday and on Saturday from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service with Pastor Jim Weber officiating.
