Simeon H. “Sim” Reynolds age 87 of Morgantown passed away Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Golden Living Center, Morgantown. He was born January 3, 1929 in Washington, PA a son of the late Simeon Reynolds and Mary Irene Hutchinson Reynolds. Sim was a retired Lieutenant with the Morgantown Police Department and Street Superintendent for the City of Morgantown. Sim proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force during the Korean War. In his spare time, Sim enjoyed hunting and being outdoors. Sim is survived by his daughter, Melody Ann DeFere of Morgantown, one son, Kim David Reynolds and wife Bonnie of North Canton, OH, two sisters, Dolores Shehl of Huntington and Carol Wooten of Columbus, OH, grandchildren, Erin DeFere, Andrea Reynolds and fiancée Tristan Lockie, Tim Reynolds and wife Monica and great grandson Jack Reynolds. Sim was preceded in death by his wife, Betty J. Reynolds, one sister, Phyllis Davis and one brother Richard Reynolds. Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Morgantown from 5-7 pm Monday and on Tuesday from 11:00 am until the noon funeral service with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery with graveside military honors provided by the United States Air Force honor guard and the Westover VFW Post # 9916.
