I am very sorry for the family's loss. Matt and I were great friends, especially during my time spent at WVU. He was a great friend and would do anything he could to help me out. This is heartbreaking. But, I want to end this on a happy note so I am going to share a funny memory from our high school days, around 2007. Matt and Jimmy needed picked up and had called me for a ride. It was raining really hard, and we were almost at our destination when I started to hydroplane and went into a small ditch, which caused scratches on my front bumper. Now, I was 16 at the time and could never tell my mom what happened... So, the next morning, Matt, Jimmy, and me all went to WalMart to get black car paint to try and cover up the scratches. We parked my car down at Chester City Park and those two spent an hour or more on making sure no one could tell I had terrible driving skills. Thanks to them, my mom had never noticed. I hope that the both of them met up with each other and are enjoying catching up. They really were great people. I will always appreciate everything Matt has done for me and will keep him in my heart. Rest Easy. <3
