Michael “Mike” Dougan age 65 of Morgantown passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Mike was born October 18, 1950 in Pittsburgh a son of the late Harry Robert Dougan Jr. and Eileen Catherine Coughlin Dougan.
Above all else, he was a loving husband and father, who enjoyed spending time with his family and vacationing with them at Tybee Island and Disney.
Mike was a senior sales representative for Armstrong Cement and Supply. He was a two time former exalted ruler of the Elks Club, and a proud member of the Builders Supply Association of West Virginia. He enjoyed golfing, and officiating high school and college football.
Mike is survived by his wife of 24 years, Kim Wassick Dougan of Morgantown; daughter Rebecca Dougan and Ryan Stichweh of Morgantown; sons Michael Dougan and his wife Jennifer of Sherman, TX and Robert Thomas Donnell Dougan of Morgantown; his granddaughter, Grace Stichweh of Morgantown; sisters Colleen Dougan of Pittsburgh, PA and Chris Hall and her husband Mike of Morgantown; brothers Pat Dougan and his wife Joyce of Sewell, NJ, Denny Dougan and his wife Jan of Pittsburgh, PA, and Harry Dougan and his wife Linda of Pittsburgh, PA; and his mother and father, Stan and Mary Sue Wassick of Westover.
Those pallbearers who have the honor of carrying Mike to his final place of rest are: Mike Wimer, Ross Snyder, Paul Benec, Dale Hill, George Lion, Rick Wright, John Cavalier, Jim Fichtleman, and Dave Batson.
Friends are invited to gather in support of the family at McCulla Funeral Home on Sunday, August 21 from 2-5 & 7-9 pm and on Monday from 10 until the 11 am funeral service with Pastor Matt Lowe officiating. Interment will immediately follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery. Online condolences may be extended to the family at www.mcculla.com
