Julia Jean Emery, age 70, of Morgantown, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Mon General Hospital. Julia was born in Fairmont on July 6, 1946, a daughter of the late John and Helen Sims Chase. Julia worked for over 30 years as a manager at Rid Aid working at the Downtown and Patteson Drive locations throughout her career. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Julia is survived by her husband, James K. Emery, Sr.; daughter, Cherie Bowlby of Morgantown; son, James Emery of Morgantown; brothers, Henry and Joe Chase; granddaughter, Tamara Trahan; and two great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Julia was preceded in death by her sister, Roseanne Floyd.
