Linda Gay Lemley, age 70, of Markleysburg, PA, formerly of Morgantown, WV passed away Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Quality Life Services in Markleysburg, PA. Linda was born in Garden City, MI on February 9, 1954, a daughter of the late Robert and Virginia Carpenter Floyd. Linda spent her working days at the National Council on Aging and West Viriginia Workforce Development. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church where she was also a member of their bell choir. She was a loving wife, mom, grandmother, and sister who will be greatly missed. Linda is survived by her daughter, Shannon Campbell; sons, Chris Lemley (Vicki) and Shawn Lemley; brother, Brad Floyd (Pam); and grandchildren, Stanley, Isabella, Cayden, José, Jordan, and Julius. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Lemley; and sister, Sharon Floyd Raines. In honoring Linda’s wishes, McCulla Funeral Home has provided cremation service and a memorial service will take place at a later date at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with inurnment at the WV National Cemetery.
