Katheryn Lee Knisell, aged 77, of Morgantown, WV, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2024, in the same town where her life’s journey began on October 4, 1946. She was the daughter of the late Melvin McCauley and Alice Bell Austin. Katheryn deeply cherished her role as a mother and is survived by her beloved children: Melanie Brown (CJ), Beverly Knisell, Angela Knisell, and Allen Knisell. She was also a nurturing presence in the lives of her many grandchildren, Tucker Knisell, Cassy Knisell, Jerrod Lough, Justin Knisell, Jasmine Wiles, Kevin Knisell, Roger Kinsley, CJ Brown, Wyatt Brown, and Ryland Brown, as well as several great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her days. Katheryn's family was the centerpiece of her life, bringing her immeasurable happiness and pride. In addition to her parents, Katheryn was preceded in death by her daughter, Marsha Knisell, siblings, Ellen "Susie" McCauley, John Bell, Delbert Eugene McCauley, her cherished life-long companion, William "Bill" Tennant, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories with, and companion, Donald Wright. Each held a special place in her heart and shaped the woman she became.
