Ada Marie Watkins, age 83, of Morgantown, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Evergreen Assisted Living. Ada was born in Morgantown on August 22, 1932, a daughter of the late Demp and Georgia McClead Richard.
Ada enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and watching TV; but her greatest joy came from taking care of her family.
Ada is survived by her daughter, Sherri Downey Edgell of Morgantown; son, Raymond Edgell and wife Wendy of Maidsville; sister, Anna Trickett of Fairmont; 9 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Ada was preceded in death by her husband Wilford G. Watkins; 3 sisters; and 4 brothers.
Friends and family may gather at McCulla Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 4-7 PM and also on Wednesday from 10-11 AM. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 AM with Pastor Jim Weber officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.McCulla.com
