Dorcas Ann Squires, age 78, of Morgantown passed away Monday, March 28, 2016 at Mapleshire Nursing Home. She was born September 30, 1937 in Lakawana, NY a daughter of the late Robert Leo Squires and Thelma Haddix Squires. Dorcas was a homemaker and a Methodist by faith. Dorcas was a fun loving person and cared for her adoptive families very much. She was fondly known as “Goo Goo” by three very special children, Dominic, Marina and Parker. She was well loved and will be missed by all. Dorcas is survived by two daughters, Debra Ann Trader Smith and Nancy Jean Trader both of Washington State, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dorcas was preceded in death by her first husband, James Trader, her second husband, Vernon Kincaid, one son, William Trader, and one brother, Richard Squires. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Mapleshire Nursing Home, Morgantown Hospice, and all her special nurses and therapists for their loving care of Dorcas. Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road from 5-7 pm Tuesday and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service with Rev. Brian Detrick officiating.
