Obituary of Myrtle Louise Pullen

Myrtle Louise Perrine Pullen, 85, of Morgantown passed away August 26, 2023 at Harmony at Morgantown, surrounded by her daughters and the love of family and friends. Myrtle was born May 28, 1938 in Trenton, NJ a daughter of the late Holmes C. Perrine and Elizabeth Naylor Perrine. Myrtle was loved by everyone she met, and was showered with kindness from the exceptional staff at Harmony of Morgantown. She was a member of Avery United Methodist Church. Myrtle fought for so long and did so only to be present with her family for as long as possible. She was an amazing mother, grandmother and friend. Her family and friends will miss her dearly, and are so thankful she is finally at peace and without pain for the first time in many years. Mrytle is survived by her daughters Dawne Betthauser (Steve) of Trempealeau, WI and Beth Parks (Ed) of Morgantown; grandchildren Melissa Connor (Kevin), Chris Woolverton (Laura), Doug Woolverton, Brian Parks (Katie), and Stephanie Crigler (Jeremy); 8 great-grandchildren; and brother Holmes C. Perrine. In addition to her parents Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband V. Lloyd Pullen. In Lieu of flowers the family ask that contributions be made to the Morgantown Hospice Care 3596 Collins Ferry Rd., Suite 250, Morgantown, WV 26505. Friends are invited to gather for a celebration of life service to be held at 3pm on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Avery United Methodist Church, Morgantown.
