Carol Ann Hoskins, 78, of Morgantown (affectionately known as Bubka) passed away peacefully at her home on July 30, 2023 surrounded by her loving family and her wonderful neighbor and caregiver, Delores Choma. Carol was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and a friend to everyone who came into her life. She deeply loved her family and friends and was a sweet and kind person to all. Bubka always acknowledged how fortunate she was to have so many caring family members and friends in her life. She is survived by her husband Terry Hoskins, son Terry Jr., daughter Tammy Elliott, granddaughters, Kaylin and Karlie Hoskins and Cecelia Elliott, and faithful grand dog Ginger. She is also survived by brothers James Phillips Jr and Anthony Phillips, many nephews, nieces (very special sisterlike nieces Barbie Barnum and Tina Salyer) and many other wonderful family members. Carol was preceded in death by her father and mother James B. and Julia Phillips and several siblings and close family members. Special thanks to the staff at Amedisys Hospice Care for providing exceptional hospice care over the past several months.
