Robert “Bob” Allen Farley, Jr., 67, of Cassville/New Hill Community passed away at home on Monday, June 5, 2023. Bob was born in Morgantown on October 29, 1955 to Robert Farley Sr. and Kathryn Jean Farley. Bob graduated from University High School in 1973; where he was a member of the wrestling team. He worked as a coal miner at Humphrey #7 and later at Loveridge #22, as an electrician and mechanic. He enjoyed golfing, hanging out at “Mike’s Garage” and catching up with friends. In addition to his parents, Bob is survived by his son-in-law: Josh Jones of Morgantown; granddaughter: Lily Kay Jones; brother: Mark Farley; niece: Caitland Farley; and his daughter’s mother: Marleen Hunt. Bob was preceded in death by his daughter: Shannon Jones; and his sister-in-law: Debbie Farley. The family wishes to thank Toby Henderson, Shania Henderson, Brewan Stafford, and John Hamilton for all of the love and care shown to Bob and his family in their time of need. The family would also like to thank Joe, Mike, and the girls from Pro Performance Rehab for all their help and care that was given to Bob. Visitation will be held at McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Rd., Morgantown, WV on Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and again on Friday, from 10 am until the 11 am funeral service. A funeral service will be held at McCulla Funeral Home on Friday at 11 am with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery.
