Glenn Russell Hawkinberry, 70, of Morgantown passed away at Ruby Hospital on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 with his family by his side. Glenn was born in Morgantown on January 24, 1953 to the late Lonnie Hawkinberry and Denssel Vannoy Hawkinberry. Glenn worked in construction. Glenn is survived by his wife: Janet Bunnell Hawkinberry; daughter: Jessica Russell (Kevin) of Morgantown and Stephanie Rodeheaver (Chris) of Granville; son: Christopher Boyers (Heather) of Morgantown; sisters: Nelvie Blosser (Dale), Luella Weber (Gail), Virginia Moon (John), Mary Stout Rowe (Dave), Ramona Simon and Opel Yerian; brothers: Robert Hawkinberry (Marylnn), and Ronnie Hawkinberry, and Junior Hawkinberry; grandchildren: Tyler, Bryson, Nikita, Ryan, Emma, Zoey, Bristol, Marcus; and many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by his sisters: Betty Woody and Catherin Kovach; and brother: William Hawkinberry. We would also like to include a special thank you to Dr. Nathan Richmond for his support and care of our dad. Friends may gather on Saturday, March 18, from 11am until the 12pm service time at the Lighthouse Cathedral, 2803 Kingwood Pike, Morgantown with Pastor John Henry officiating.
