Cassandra Jean Hunt Taylor, age 78 of Morgantown passed away Friday, March 3, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Cassandra was born March 20, 1944 in Morgantown a daughter of the late George Lemuel James Hunt and Martha Pauline Beckman Hunt.
Cassandra had previously worked at Big Lots. She loved playing Bingo and was a Pentecostal by faith.
Cassandra is survived by her daughter Shelly Johnson and companion (Eddie) of Morgantown and her son Ernest “David Taylor Jr. and companion (Kelly) of Morgantown, several grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
Cassandra was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest David Taylor Sr., one son Jody Lee Taylor, two brothers, Clifford Hunt and Ronnie Hunt and one grandson, John Anthony Bolyard.
Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road Westover, on Tuesday from 4-7 pm and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service with Pastor Shawn Woody officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.McCulla.com.
