Obituary of Willis Wolford

Willis B. Wolford, age 65, of Dellslow, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. Willis was born in Pensonfork, KY on April 24, 1950, a son of the late Elijah and Gertrude Stiltner Wolford.
Willis graduated from Morgantown High School and attended West Virginia University. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He later worked at Humphrey #7 and Grant Town Mines and was a Fire Boss at the Martinka Mine in Marion County until he became disabled in 1991.
In his free time, Willis enjoyed guns, hunting, and the natural beauty of the woods.
Willis is survived by his wife, Mila Obuga Wolford; son, Joe Wolford and wife Kelly of Fairmont; step-son, Troy Obuga; grandson, John; sister, Linda Taft and husband Bill; half-sister, Deborah Jones; half-brothers, Herbert and Walter Wolford; and step-mother, Kathryn Wolford.
In addition to his parents, Willis was preceded in death by his step-brother, Charles Steele.
