George Edward Larson, 84, of Morgantown, passed away on November 27, 2022. George was born on March 28, 1938 to the late Harry and Esther Larson. George made a career as a high school English teacher at Valley High School. He was a member of Our Lady of Joy in Pittsburgh, PA for over 60 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing and spoiling Twiggy, his dog. George is survived by his sons: Brian Larson (Trenna) of Morgantown and James Larson (Cathleen) of San Diego, CA; and grandchildren: Anna Larson, Rachel Larson, Avrey Larson, and Mackenzie Larson. In addition to his parents, George is preceded in death by his wife: Eileen Catherine Larson. McCulla Funeral Home, in Morgantown, WV, has provided cremation service.
