I got to know Dennis while I was in Ag School. We had many of the same classes and labs. Many times I remember sitting in the student lounge and studying (or playing cards) between classes.
I especially remember the the big surprise for a final exam in Doc Kidders Reproductive Physiology course. Many of our older class mates told us to be the early to start. This was supposed to be a 2 hour exam. Actually it was about 3 1/2 hours to get through it.
There were 5-6 of us who kind of formed a bond over the years, beyond graduation and we still try to keep in touch
I have many memories of Dennis in class and labs while at the University and more after we all graduated and moved on. At that time in our lives we still lived close and meeting Dennis and other classmates for helping each other on the farms, night hayrides and having parties at the Randy Paul farm, chasing cattle with Bob Cani at his place in Cameron and other things.
A great friend who will be missed by all.
