Heartfelt Deepest Sympathy & Prayers to Family/Friends of Sara Elizabeth “Betty” Brock .Especially to her son, Samuel Morton Brock III & wife Marsha of Durham,NC, her daughter, Elizabeth Ann Moats & husband Thomas Richmond/ North Chesterfield,VA, four grandchildren Rev. Molly Brick White & husband Patrick, of Raleigh,NC, Adam Benson Brock & wife Emma , of Los Angeles,CA, Hannah Elizabeth Moats& partner John Miller of Richmond,VA, six great grandchildren & her brother-in-law longtime friend of my parents &!I, Herbert Fleming , of Morgantown,WV. &!seven nieces & nephews. My mother Mary Edith Coddington Templeton grew up in Morgantown,WV with Betty, & her sisters Peggy & Jean becoming lifelong dear friends with each and their husbands Samuel Morton Brock,Jr. & Herbert Fleming. Each lifelong friends who we often joined at WVU Creative Arts Center attending musical, dance, entertainment events. , shared lives of outdoors, gardening, flowers, history, West Virginia, WVU Mountaineers & visits to their family WV retreat named Wildcat accessed via a wooden cabled swing bridge! Betty’s sister Jean was a travel partner if my mom attending National Honey Board, American Red Cross & American Association of University Women (AAUW) conventions/ meetings in Vancouver, British Columbia, California, New Mexico , Maryland, Colorado , Arizona, Minnesota, Ohio , Florida and more. Betty possessed keen sensibilities/ love of education, pheixal fitness, sports, the performing & visual arts, gardening and service to community & others through volunteerism. Betty had great sense of humor, laughter and sharp wit never shy to deliver one line zingers. Most of all Betty loved her Family, Faith and Friends whom she cherished.
