Arnell (Avenell) Baldwin age 91 of Morgantown formerly of Laurel Point, WV passed away Monday, April 19, 2021 at Stonerise of Morgantown. She was born December 21, 1929 in Persinger, WV a daughter of the late Pleasant Bert Jenkins and Ada Barnette Jenkins. Arnell had been employed by WVU Hospital, Mon General Hospital, and the Mon County Board of Education. Arnell is survived by one daughter, Barbara O’Neal, two sons, Owen Baldwin Jr. and Lawrence Baldwin, two sisters, Patricia Grubb and Betty Butcher, one brother, Roger Jenkins, thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Arnell was preceded in death by her husband Owen Baldwin Sr., one son Thomas Baldwin and nine siblings. Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover on Thursday from 10:00 am until noon. She will be laid to rest at Beverly Hills Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donation be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
