Obituary of Arlene Barnett

Arlene Mary Barnett age 81 of Laurel Point went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at her home.  She was born March 24, 1936 in Beloit, OH a daughter of the late Thomas A. and Inez Campbell.

Arlene was the former owner and operator of the Dinner Bell and Laurel Inn at Laurel Point.  She enjoyed going to church and being with her church family.  Arlene loved spending quality time with her family, reading and working cross word puzzles.  She also enjoyed the holidays, especially Christmas where she was the Mrs. Claus of the family.

Arlene is survived by two sons, Bobby and Pam Barnett of Laurel Point and Greg and Connie Barnett of Westover, one daughter Barbara Jenkins of Laurel Point, one sister, Doris Nezbeth Sebring, OH, one brother, Thomas Campbell and wife Mary Lou of Alliance, OH, grandchildren, Shawna Barnett, Ashley Roby, Christopher Brent Spitznogle, and Sarah Barnett and ten great grandchildren.

Arlene was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Barnett, two sisters, Thelma Cunningham and Judith Donahue, one brother, David Campbell and one great granddaughter, Sadie Dawn Roby.

Friends may call at the Kingdom EMC Church, 540 Fairmont Road from 3-5 & 7-9 pm Wednesday and on Thursday from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service with Rev. Kevin Cain officiating.  Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.McCulla.com.
